About
Meghan Rogers is a production designer whose design philosophy is rooted in translating conceptual visual ideas into tangible space driven by the foundation of story and character. A true collaborator, she enjoys the process and challenge of working with a team to find the path to new and innovative worlds in storytelling.
Her work ranges across multiple genre styles. From the LA based noir world of the Colin Farrel lead “Sugar” series for Apple to the fantasy world of magic in Anne Rice’s “Mayfair Witches” for AMC, and even the high concept sci-fi thriller “The Signal” for Focus Features; Meghan enjoys blending artistic imagination with realism to build emotional and dynamic environments.
Meghan began her career in the arts as a scenic mural painter and welder in theatre before transitioning into short form music videos and commercials, independent films, and later TV. She is a skilled technician with a construction background in steel and wood. These skills help her to seamlessly communicate architectural and textural color elements from paper to large scale construction completion. She holds MFA’s in theatre and graphic design as well.
Meghan enjoys working quietly behind the camera and adeptly translates the visual world of design to her team for a seamless collaboration. She believes that good communication across all departments is the key to the successful shaping of the environments that makes stories believable.
Trivia: She has also danced in a Super Bowl half-time show!
